“Home,” the coronation single by “American Idol” champion Phillip Phillips was co-written and produced by Pulse’s Drew Pearson. “Home” has made “American Idol” history this week by achieving the biggest sales week for any “American Idol” winner’s coronation single, surpassing David Cook’s “The Time of my Life” from 2008. The song also had the second-best digital sales week ever for any “Idol” contestant, trailing only Kelly Clarkson’s “My Life Would Suck Without You” from 2009. On top of this, “Home” is the first coronation single since 2008 to reach the Billboard Hot 100′s top 10 in it’s first week, with its debut today at No. 10
