Christian “Bloodshy” Karlsson is an award-winning songwriter, producer and artist who has collaborated with Pop music’s most successful artists including Madonna, Britney Spears, Katy Perry, Kylie Minogue, Jennifer Lopez and Kelis. As one of the world’s most sought after hit-makers, Bloodshy’s astonishing list of credits includes co-writing and producing Britney Spears’ “Toxic.” The worldwide multi-platinum hit earned him a Grammy in 2005 for “Best Dance Recording” as well as the United Kingdom’s Ivor Novello award.
Not content at simply making smash hits for Pop icons, Bloodshy formed the wildly successful Electronic Indie band Miike Snow, whose eponymous debut album in 2009 grew from an underground hit to one that was included on nearly every major publication’s “Best Of” list. Cementing the band as an Indie force, Miike Snow’s sophomore album “Happy to You” landed in the top 10 of US Album Sales. The band released their aptly titled third studio album III in March 2016, lead by the single “Genghis Khan.” Bloodshy’s insistence at further pushing the boundaries led to the creation of the genre bending Electronic duo Galantis. Fusing elements of House, Soul, Pop, and Indie, Galantis debuted at 2014’s Coachella Festival to a packed tent of 10,000 rabid fans. Their infectious songs including “Runaway (U & I),” “Peanut Butter Jelly,” “Smile,” “You,” and “Gold Dust” have all become festival mainstays, iTunes chart toppers, and viral sensations.
