After celebrating a Platinum single (“Electric Love”) and touring the globe in 2016, BØRNS headed right back into the studio with longtime collaborator Tommy English to begin work on his sophomore album. The first single “Faded Heart” carries forward much of the sound that propelled BØRNS into many “best new artist” lists over the past 2 years, and it was mixed by PULSE client Tony Maserati. In his own words, BØRNS calls the new single “a lamentation of my own morality” describing that common feeling of coming off the thrills of a worldwide tour to common life back at home. “It’s like this snap of reality in a way, and so ‘Faded Heart’ is my dealing with my life and morality.” In addition to releasing a new single, BØRNS announced a new Fall tour and his new album is expected in January 2018.
