Nate Cyphert Honored at BMI’s Country Awards for Florida Georgia Line’s “H.O.L.Y”

BMI’s 65th Annual Country Awards took place in Nashville on November 7th, 2017 and one of the night’s biggest awards was presented to PULSE and songwriter Nate Cyphert. It has been an incredible 18-month run for Florida Georgia Line’s “H.O.L.Y.” which Cyphert co-wrote. The song spent 18 weeks at #1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart, has been streamed more than 200 million times, and was recently certified 3X Platinum by the RIAA. “H.O.L.Y.” took home the Frances W. Preston Award at BMI’s annual event, which recognized the most-played country song of the year. Earlier this year, the song was named “Single Record of the Year” at the ACM Awards, and won the “Top Country Song” award at the Billboard Music Awards.
