PULSE RE-UPS MARIA EGAN AS PRESIDENT AND HEAD OF CREATIVE

Scott Cutler and Josh Abraham, co-CEOs of Pulse Music Group have announced today the extension of their five year relationshop with Maria Egan. As President and Head of Creative at Pulse Music Group and a partner in the company, Egan is responsible for overseeing the company’s creative strategy and runs their highly accoladed A&R team. She will also continue to build Pulse’s management roster and develop projects for the Pulse branded label.
Egan has played a key role in Pulse’s creative success over the past few years, and her leadership and achievements were recently recognized by Billboard when it featured Egan in its prestigious Women In Music list.

She’s an amazingly talented A&R executive who has helped take us to a new level creatively, and beyond that she’s just a fantastic person to work with every day. A growth-minded leader with a track record of success, Egan’s recent accomplishments include helping Pulse double its NPS, win the AIMP Publisher of the Year Award for 2018 and climb into the Top 10 publisher market share in the US. She also led the company’s drive into the Latin music market and played an integral role in the formation of Pulse’s partnerships with Marc Anthony’s Magnus Media and Nas’ Mass Appeal.

Egan also recently co-founded REBOOT, a community for female creators. The REBOOT initiative hosts expert workshops and gatherings with a mission to support women in the creative community and highlight how they can lead in the creative process.

Egan and the team are also supporting key signings from Pulse’s publishing ventures with Rick Rubin, Creative Nation and Magnus Media.
