Starrah is a co-writer on The Weeknd’s #1 Debut Album

In what has been a career-defining year for PULSE client Starrah, she closes 2016 with a cut on The Weeknd’s third studio album Starboy which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 albums chart, becoming the third-largest album sales debut for 2016. Starrah co-wrote “True Colors” which the Washington Post credits as the song where The Weeknd “comes as close to traditional R&B as he ever has” and Consequence of Sound called it “icy and sedate” and that it “refreshes with its pleasantly organic feel.” This is the third #1 album that Starrah has been a part of in 2016, the others were Rihanna’s ANTI and Travis Scott’s Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight
