Starrah has been nominated for Songwriter of the Year at the second annual Spotify Secret Genius Awards, being held in Los Angeles on November 16th. The event recognizes the music industry’s influential songwriters, producers, engineers and mixers, and Starrah took home the awards for “Secret Genius of the Year: Female” and “Secret Genius: Hip Hop” at last year’s inaugural event. She was also named as one of Spotify’s original “Secret Genius Global Ambassadors” when the initiative was launched in 2016.
