A year after they made an impact with their debut EP Dirty Talk, Pulse client Oliver released a new EP today titled Mechanical on Fool’s Gold Records. Described in one blog as “such a clean and well-balanced EP, with all the synth frequencies arranged with precision,” and by another as “soulful, funky, and bristling with sass,” the Mechanical EP sets the new precedent on what’s to come for Oliver in 2013. The duo has been featured in likes of Rolling Stone, Spin, FutureMusic, and dance music blogs around the world, and has seen its fanbase grow rapidly over the past 12 months. They will be supporting Dillon Francis on the “WURLD TURR” in March and April, with more tour dates to soon be announced

With the help of Skrillex and other prominent touring DJ’s, Alex Metric’s single “Rave Weapon” has become a new EDM favorite. It is featured on his EP titled Ammunition Pt. 2 released today, along with the song “Motion Study” featuring Pulse client OLIVER. Originally gaining notoriety as a remixer of tracks by Depeche Mode, U2, La Roux, Gorrilaz, and the Beastie Boys, Alex Metric has more recently grown into a respected touring DJ and a producer, signing to Skrillex’s label OWSLA. OLIVER is putting the finishing touches on their new EP which will be released by Fool’s Gold Records in early 2013
