Announced on the same day it was released, The Weeknd’s My Dear Melancholy EP debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 Chart. Starrah co-wrote the track “Wasted Times” along with collaborators Skrillex and Frank Dukes. Considered a return to The Weeknd’s darker style first presented on his mixtape releases in 2011, the EP artfully blends an alternative R&B sound with electro pop productions. It was streamed more than 26 million times on its first day of release on Apple Music, and is the shortest album by track count, to top the Billboard 200 in eight years.
