SAWEETIE & JHENÉ AIKO’S “BACK TO THE STREETS” GOES TO #1
Last October, rapper Saweetie released a new collaboration with Jhené Aiko – “Back to the Streets” – which was co-written by PULSE client Sirah. The R&B laced song was different from Saweetie’s typical booty-poppin’ hits, and it began to impact Rhythmic radio prior to Thanksgiving. After 12 weeks on the chart, “Back to the Streets” rose to #1 this week, and it’s Saweetie’s second #1 at Rhythmic radio following the 2X Platinum single “My Type”.
