Ryan Beatty
Biography
Ryan Beatty is a vocalist, songwriter, and producer based in Los Angeles. He started releasing music at age 16, drawing early comparisons to Justin Bieber and garnering attention as a rising pop star. He began collaborating with hip-hop boy band BROCKHAMPTON in 2017, and co-wrote the standout hook on the group’s single “QUEER”. Since then, he has become one of the most integral collaborators in BROCKHAMPTON, while still pursuing his own critically acclaimed artist project. He signed to multi-platinum songwriter Benny Blanco’s imprint label at Interscope Records in 2018 and released his debut album Boy in Jeans. He was a contributor on Tyler, The Creator’s album Igor which won “Best Rap Album” at the 2020 Grammy Awards, and he worked on Kevin Abtract’s solo project Arizona Baby. Beatty co-wrote the hook of BROCKHAMPTON’s most-successful single “SUGAR” which spent 9 weeks on the Hot 100 and is the group’s first RIAA Platinum single
