Biography
AMARA is a multi-genre songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Los Angeles, who writes in English, Spanish, and Arabic. Growing up in New York City, she was influenced by hip hop and R&B, which shaped her ability to create unique genre-blending songs. Her classical guitar training allows her to understand the musical importance of big pop melodies,allowing her versatility to shine from being able to to write songs from scratch at the guitar or rap and write over beats, filling the session needs.
Amara’s recent commercial success includes co-writing and performing the lead single for The In Between, which charted at #1 globally on International Netflix, topping the charts and reaching the Top 10 in 79 countries. She has had recent cuts with Audrey Nuna, and Pia Mia. Her eclectic collaborations are positioning her as a rising force with a fresh, genre-crossing approach in today’s music scene.
