Pulse Signs Verse Simmonds To Worldwide Publishing Deal
Pulse is excited to announce the signing of Verse Simmonds, a Grammy-nominated songwriter, producer, and artist. He formed the production duo the Jugganauts in the late 1990’s who co-wrote and produced Rihanna’s “Man Down,” and the single “Who Gon Stop Me” by Kanye West and Jay Z. More recently, he has co-written songs on album releases by Justin Bieber, R. Kelly, T.I., Fifth Harmony, Juvenile, and Kid Ink. In 2014, he co-penned Chris Brown’s single “New Flame feat. Usher and Rick Ross” which was nominated for “Best R&B Song” at the 2015 Grammy Awards, and reached #1 on the urban radio chart in the US. As an artist, Simmonds has released a number of mixtapes, collaborating with Young Jeezy, Akon, Snoop Dogg, Jeremih, and Kelly Rowland.
