Miranda Lambert’s new album The Weight of These Wings has debuted at #1 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart, making it her sixth consecutive album to reach the top of the chart. The album is also the highest charting country album from a female artist in more than a year, and it follows the massive success of Lambert’s multiple award-winning album Platinum. Pulse and Creative Nation client Natalie Hemby has been a key collaborator with Miranda Lambert since 2009’s Revolution and is a co-writer of 10 songs on The Weight of these Wings. The two celebrated “Song of the Year” and “Single of the Year” awards in 2015 and 2014 respectively at the ACM’s and CMA’s with the hit “Automatic” which was Hemby’s sixth #1 single. She is currently prepping a solo album release Puxico due out next January.
