Biography
Albert Hammond Jr. is a globally renowned guitarist, singer-songwriter, producer and founding member of the Grammy Award-winning band The Strokes. Still actively touring with The Strokes, Albert has simultaneously focused on his solo career, as well as writing for others. His solo material has taken his music in more eclectic, and more personal directions, having accumulated over 185 million lifetime streams over the course of five solo albums; ‘Yours to Keep’ (2006), ‘¿Cómo Te Llama?’ (2008), ‘Momentary Masters’ (2015), ‘Francis Trouble’ (2018) and his most recent full length release titled ‘Melodies On Hiatus’ (2023). Receiving praise from outlets including NPR, Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, Stereogum and more, along with performances on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” and at a host of major festivals including Lollapalooza, Governors Ball, Primavera Sound and more, Albert’s versatility as a musician and decades of experience in the industry have made him an invaluable collaborator.
