Biography

Joony is a 23-year old rapper, singer, and songwriter from Maryland. He started out uploading music to SoundCloud & DSPs through independent distribution services. Eventually, his music caught the attention of Brent Faiyaz, who would sign him with PULSE Music Group. Most recently, Joony appeared on Brent’s Wasteland (“FYTB”) debuting at #97 on the Hot 100. He also released his own album Pretty In Black (with production from Charlie Heat, CashMoneyAP, Ben10k and more). Joony’s sound ranges from the whole scope of modern hip-hop, to indie-pop and alternative music like Clairo & Still Woozy, to new age R&B stars like Brent Faiyaz & 6lack.
