Biography
Ty Dolla $ign started racking up hits at the start of 2010, reaching the Billboard Hot 100 when he produced and co-wrote YG’s hit single “Toot it and Boot it.” That same year, Ty co-wrote Grammy-nominated Best Rap Song, “Young Wild & Free ft. Bruno Mars” which peaked at #8 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart in 2013. That same year, his debut single “Paranoid ft. B.o.B” went platinum, and his follow up single “Or Nah ft. Wiz Khalifa” [Atlantic Records] became his second single to hit the top ten on Billboard’s Hot R&B Songs chart, quickly becoming a multi-platinum hit. Ty Dolla $ign’s full-length debut Free TC charted at #14 on the Billboard 200 chart. Since then, he’s become pop music’s go-to collaborator known for creating hit singles such as Fifth’s Harmony’s massive hit “Work From Home,” “Suicide Squads” award-winning single “Sucker For Pain” alongside Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, Imagine Dragons and Logic. Most recently, Ty Dolla $ign co-wrote and is featured on Post Malone’s “Psycho,” Gucci Mane’s “Enormous,” Jason Derulo’s hit single “Swalla,” Kanye West’s “Real Friends”, Rihanna’s “Four Five Seconds”- co-written with Rihanna, Kanye West and Paul McCartney- along with chart toppers for Jeremih, Chris Brown, Bebe Rexha, Meek Mill, Rick Ross, 2chainz, and others.
