Pulse Music Group and American Songs client Chad Hugo has been inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame as a member of the multi-platinum, Grammy award-winning production duo The Neptunes, along with his partner Pharrell Williams. They join the Class of 2020 inductees which also includes music luminaries Mariah Carey, the Eurythmics, the Isley Brothers, and Steve Miller.

The Neptunes are considered one of the most successful production duos in history, and were a force in
shaping pop and urban radio in the 90’s and early 00’s penning such hits as Britney Spears “I’m a Slave 4 U”, Nelly’s “Hot In Herre”, Snoop Dogg’s “Drop It Like it’s Hot”, Gwen Stefani’s “Hollaback Girl”, Justin Timberlake’s “Rock Your Body” and Jay-Z’s “I Just Wanna Love U (Give It 2 Me)”. The Neptunes are credited with twenty-four Billboard Hot 100 top 10 hits, and more than 50 RIAA Gold and Platinum singles and albums.
