Goldlink recently told Pitchfork “whatever world you create, that’s what people are going to be stuck in.” His “future bounce” sound comes full circle with the release of his debut album After That, We Didn’t Talk on Soulection today. Music from the album has sprinkled out over the past several months including the tracks “Spectrum,” “Unique, and “New Black” which are part of the 11 song album, that features collaborations with the likes of Louie Lastic, Anderson. Paak, Masego, and Demo Taped. Having amassed millions of plays on Soundcloud with his project “The God Complex” and the single “Sober Thoughts,” Goldlink was included on XXL’s prestigious “Freshman Class” list and has been profiled on nearly every major hip hop blog. He is currently headlining a West Coast tour and heads to the festival circuit in Australia in February.
