MADONNA’S ‘MADAME X’ DEBUTS AT #1 ON THE BILLBOARD 200
Madonna’s fourteenth studio album Madame X debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200, marking her ninth album to top the charts during its release week. Dubbed a “concept album centering around a secret agent traveling around the world, changing identity, fighting for freedom, and bringing light to dark places,” Madame X was co-written by Starrah, who contributed to six of the album’s tracks including the lead single “Crave feat. Swae Lee.” This is the first project the two have collaborated on, and it’s the first #1 album in 2019 for Starrah. She contributed to three #1 album debuts in 2018: Nicki Minaj’s Queen, Camila Cabello’s Camila, and The Weeknd’s My Dear Melancholy
