PULSE client Bloodshy spent the majority of 2015 as a member of the duo Galantis who enjoyed worldwide success behind the single “Runaway (U & I)” which has now been streamed 200 Million times on Spotify. In the short period of time he wasn’t headlining festivals with Galantis, he was working with Miike Snow bandmates Andrew Wyatt and Avant on the group’s third studio album. It’s first release in 4 years, iii brings back the familiar electropop sound that Miike Snow established with their early hits “Animal” and “Black and Blue,” while introducing new substantive sound stylings. Entertainment Weekly described the albums as “Ebullient, instantly hummable melodies. The songs hinge on the mastery of the cathartic swells that would make a festival crowd go bonkers.”
