Pulse Clients Co-Write & Produce 10 Songs On Gwen Stefani’s #1 Album
Gwen Stefani’s new album This Is What The Truth Feels Like debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 chart, the first time she has achieved this feat as a solo artist. Pulse clients collaborated on 10 songs from the album, which made Stefani one of only five female artists of all time to have a #1 album as part of a group and then as a solo artist. J.R. Rotem co-wrote and produced all 10 of these songs, including the album’s first single “Used To Love You” which spent several weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Raja Kumari is a co-writer of 6 songs from the album, and has now co-written several successful songs with Rotem including Fall Out Boy’s “Centuries,” Fifth Harmony’s “Like Mariah,” and original songs for the tv series “Empire.” Tony Maserati mixed 4 songs on the album, marking the first time the two have worked together over their storied careers. Mike Green is a co-writer and co-producer of the track “Getting Warmer,” and Lovy Longomba co-wrote “War Paint.” Regarding her studio collaborators on This Is What The Truth Feels Like, Stefani told GQ Magazine, “I got the perfect combination of people to really support me and make me feel confident. It was an amazing awakening.”
