The original soundtrack to the motion picture Fifty Shades Darker debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 selling 123,000 digital and physical units in its first week. It is the first soundtrack to hit #1 on the Billboard 200 since last year’s Suicide Squad soundtrack. It is the sequel to Fifty Shades of Grey which saw its companion soundtrack debut and peak at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 in 2015. PULSE clients participated on 3 tracks on the new soundtrack; Rooty is a co-writer and featured artist on JRY’s track “Pray” which was also mixed by Adam Hawkins. Toulouse contributed to the soundtrack with the song “No Running From Me” and writer/producer Andrew Jackson is featured on Kygo’s track “Cruise.”
